Elevations Design & Projects team are working exclusively with a globally recognised manufacturing business based in South Yorkshire, supporting their search for a Product Development Manager to lead the strategy, development, and commercial growth of world-leading products used across multiple industries.

This is a senior, high-visibility position where you’ll bridge the gap between engineering, manufacturing, and commercial strategy, driving new product development and market expansion on a global scale.

• Define and deliver a global product and innovation strategy that fuels business growth.

• Lead and inspire a small team of R&D and product management professionals.

• Identify new market opportunities and applications for high-performance materials.

• Partner with global customer solution centres and key customers to solve complex engineering challenges.

• Translate innovation into commercial success, from concept to launch.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, sales, and marketing to ensure world-class delivery and performance.

• Drive continuous improvement in product cost, performance, and market positioning.

• Degree-qualified in Engineering (or related discipline).

• Preferably 10+ years’ experience in product management, innovation, or business development within a manufacturing environment.

• Proven experience leading technical and commercial projects end-to-end.

• Strong understanding of R&D processes, materials technology, and or any experience in highly regulated sectors

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence across global teams.
