Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary Schools in Uxbridge
Location: Uxbridge, West London
Start date: After October Half Term
Contract type: Full-time, Long-term
Pay: £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working with warm, inclusive, and high-achieving secondary schools in Uxbridge, who are looking for Graduate SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team after half term. These are fantastic opportunities for those who are caring, enthusiastic, and eager to start a rewarding career in education.

The Role:

  • Supporting students aged 11-16 with a range of special educational needs (including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and social, emotional, or mental health needs).
  • Working 1:1 or in small groups to help pupils access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborating with the SENCO, teachers, and pastoral team to deliver targeted support strategies.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour, emotional well-being, and independence.
  • Assisting in adapting learning materials and classroom resources for individual learners.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A recent graduate.
  • Passionate about supporting students with SEN and committed to inclusive education.
  • Patient, empathetic, and confident in building relationships with young people.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Previous experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary) is desirable but not essential.
