Description

This Management Accountant role will report directly to the Financial Controller, this role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of the full management accounts process and play a key part in shaping the finance function as the company continues its growth journey. Responsibilities will include:

  • End-to-end preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Production of accurate and timely weekly reports for senior management
  • Updating and maintaining financial dashboards to support decision-making
  • Oversee stock forecasting and integration with purchasing function
  • Ensuring accuracy, reliability, and integrity of the general ledger and payables ledger
  • Enforcing financial controls and improving processes where needed
  • Supporting ad-hoc financial analysis and business initiatives
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide insight and financial support
  • Ability to process a monthly payroll

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

    • Strong technical background in accountancy and finance, with experience in accounting compliance
    • Part/newly qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and management reporting
    • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
    • Highly tech-savvy, with confidence in Excel and modern accounting/reporting tools
    • Adaptable, organised, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
    • Positive "can-do" attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done
