Your new firm:
A national practice with a heavyweight private client capability is investing in its Manchester office. They combine partner-led technical depth with an entrepreneurial culture - strong client relationships, high-value mandates and a clear appetite for growth. The team is busy, visible and looking for a senior adviser who can step in and add immediate credibility.
Your new role:
As Private Client Associate Director you'll lead trusted adviser relationships across a sophisticated client base. You'll own high-net-worth mandates, deliver technical advice across trusts, IHT, residence & domicile, estate and succession planning, oversee compliance delivery and support growth activity across the region.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading advisory work for HNW / UHNW individuals, families and family offices
Overseeing and signing off personal tax compliance and trust reporting
Providing technical advice on IHT, trusts, estate planning, residence & domicile and business succession
Acting as a senior point of contact for longstanding clients and introducers
Supporting Partners with pitches, proposals and business development activity
Coaching, developing and retaining senior/junior team members
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
CTA / ACA / CTA-equivalent or strong private client technical background
Proven experience at Senior Manager / Associate Director level within private client or personal tax teams
Practical advisory experience with HNW clients, trusts and IHT planning
Excellent client-handling, communication and stakeholder management skills
Commercial mindset with appetite to help grow the service line
