Property Sales Executive – LPA Receivership

Location: Manchester City Centre

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000

Acting Agency: Imperium Financial Recruitment

Overview

Imperium Financial Recruitment is working with a specialist firm of Insolvency Practitioners who are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property Sales Executive to join their Property Sales and Surveying team. This role is well suited to candidates with early RICS experience (or those aspiring to professional qualification) who wish to develop their expertise in managing residential and commercial property sales under LPA Receivership.

You will play a key role in delivering the best outcomes for creditors while ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end sale process of residential and commercial properties under LPA Receivership.
  • Coordinate property valuations, inspections, and appraisals in line with RICS and internal compliance requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with case managers, solicitors, lenders, and external agents to ensure smooth sales progression.
  • Assess and negotiate offers to achieve best value while adhering to regulatory obligations.
  • Prepare detailed reports on marketing activity, offers, and sales progress for internal and client review.
  • Maintain accurate records and full audit trails to ensure compliance with RICS and legal guidelines.
  • Support process improvements and contribute to the development of property sales strategies.
  • Handle queries from stakeholders promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor market trends, property values, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in property sales, ideally with exposure to distressed assets or receivership.
  • Understanding of LPA Receivership processes (desirable but not essential).
  • Working towards or holding RICS (AssocRICS / MRICS) accreditation preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and case management abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience liaising with solicitors, lenders, surveyors, and managing agents.
  • Commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of property management or sales software an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel minimally across the UK when required.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage a portfolio effectively.

Benefits

  • Professional development opportunities, with support for RICS accreditation following probation.
  • Exposure to a wide variety of property transactions and receivership processes.
  • Collaborative working environment with experienced mentors.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays.
