Description
As a Management Accountant, duties will include but are not limited to:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and budgets.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance against set targets.
- Support the development of financial strategies and plans.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Producing forecasts and cash flow forecasts
- Accruals and prepayments
- Assist with year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
- Contribute to the improvement of financial systems and processes.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A Full Accountancy Qualification (CIMA/ ACCA/ACA/CIPFA) or be actively studying any of these qualifications
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting.
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and can use their own initiative
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
- The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
Job Offer
- Salary ranging from £48,000 to £50,000 per annum.
