Management Accountant in Bromley - JMF Associates

A fast-growing SME company based in North Kent is looking to hire an ACA/ACCA/CIMA-qualified Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis.  This role offers hybrid working with 2 days per week working from home.  Reporting to the Managing Director and supervising one Accounts Assistant, the Management Accountant will:

Duties of the Management Accountant Role:

• ??????? ??????????????????????????????????? Preparing and presenting accurate monthly financial statements within agreed timescales.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Analysing financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Developing, managing, and monitoring the company's annual budget.
• Conducting financial forecasting to project future revenues, expenses, and financial performance.
• Identifying variances between actual and budgeted results and advising on corrective actions.
• Managing audits, both internal and external, to validate financial processes and controls

Requirements of the Management Accountant Role:

• ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified Accountant
• Experience working within a fast-paced SME organsation, preferably with a product focus
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to mentor staff
• Excellent communication skills and able to act as a business partner to internal stakeholders.
