Chase & Holland are proud to be partnering exclusively with a large and well-known Lincoln-based business to recruit a talented Financial Reporting Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA) looking to take the next step in their career — leading a small team, shaping financial reporting processes, and playing a key role in the company’s transformation.

As Financial Reporting Manager, you’ll be a key part of the Financial Reporting & Planning team, driving the delivery of accurate and insightful management accounts, year-end reporting, and statutory returns. You’ll also take ownership of internal and external audits, while deputising for the Head of Financial Reporting & Planning.
You’ll have one direct report and the opportunity to make a real impact — improving systems, streamlining processes, and enhancing financial governance.

The Role:

• Deliver high-quality, accurate monthly management accounts and insightful board packs
• Own balance sheet controls and reconciliations
• Lead the preparation of year-end financial statements and external audit delivery
• Manage the internal audit plan — from scheduling and reviews to ensuring action completion
• Produce ad-hoc management information and ensure consistent, reliable reporting
• Identify and implement improvements across systems, reporting packs, and controls
• Oversee all external data returns and governance sign-offs
• Act as the main point of contact for external auditors
• Manage and develop a Financial Reporting Analyst
• Deputise for the Head of Financial Reporting & Planning when required

About You:
You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA) with strong experience in financial reporting, audit, and statutory accounts. You’ll thrive in a fast-moving environment, with the confidence to challenge, improve, and lead. We’re looking for someone who is:

• IT-savvy, especially with Excel and reporting systems
