I am delighted to be partnering with a manufacturing business based in North Lincolnshire on their search for a newly created Management Accountant role!
Key day to day duties:
- Lead the management of supplier rebates, ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation, and allocations
- Support the Financial Director in preparing monthly management accounts and conducting general ledger analysis
- Produce and circulate monthly sales performance reports to senior stakeholders
- Serve as a key contact for stakeholders regarding financial queries and reporting matters
- Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
- Manage inter-company recharges and ensure correct processing
- Maintain and enhance KPI reporting frameworks
- Review and analyse expense invoices for accuracy and compliance
- Provide holiday cover and ad-hoc support across the Management Accounts team
- Publish daily performance league tables for internal visibility
- Assist with finance-related projects and initiatives led by the Financial Director
- Contribute to year-end audit preparation and statutory reporting activities
- Drive improvements in financial processes, controls, and reporting tools
- Participate in cross-functional projects such as system upgrades, cost analysis, and margin reviews
- Coach and mentor junior finance colleagues
