Head of Operations in Sheffield - Clayton Davies Ltd

Our client is a leading wealth management firm dedicated to helping individuals, families, and businesses achieve their long-term financial goals. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to join their leadership team and play a key role in shaping the next phase of their growth.

As Head of Operations, you will take ownership of the firm’s operational strategy, infrastructure, and delivery. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that the business runs efficiently, compliantly, and profitably — enabling advisers and support teams to focus on delivering outstanding service to clients.

You will work closely with the Board to drive operational excellence, implement scalable systems, and support the development of a high-performance culture.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Oversee all operational functions, including client servicing, compliance, HR, finance, and technology.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the operations and administrative teams.
• Drive process improvement and operational efficiency across the business.
• Ensure regulatory compliance in line with FCA requirements and internal standards.
• Partner with advisers and leadership to improve client experience and service delivery.
• Manage relationships with external partners, including platforms, providers, and technology vendors.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and management reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
• Support business growth through operational scalability and best practice initiatives.
• Contribute to strategic planning and play a key role in firm-wide projects and change management.

Do you have the following to apply?

• Proven track record in an operational leadership role within an IFA, wealth management, or financial planning firm.
• Strong understanding of FCA regulations, compliance frameworks, and financial services processes.
