Project Accountant

Rate: £26.44 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Contract: Until 31st March 2026
Location: Remote

Are you an experienced Project Accountant looking for your next contract role in the public sector? We’re working with a well-established organisation in Wales that’s seeking a skilled professional to support the financial management of three projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage budgets for three active projects, ensuring financial compliance and accurate reporting.
• Provide financial insight and support to project leads and stakeholders.
• Monitor expenditure, forecast costs, and contribute to strategic planning.
• Ensure alignment with public sector financial regulations and contract frameworks.

Key Requirements:

• Public sector experience is essential.
• Proficiency in Agresso (Unit4 Business World) is a must.
• Fully qualified accountant (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or qualified by experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
