Transactional Finance Manager in Sheffield - PRATAP PARTNERSHIP LTD

We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Transactional Manager to join a fast-paced, forward-thinking finance team based in Sheffield.

This role is initially for a minimum 2 months with the potential to be longer.

As Transactional Manager, you will oversee the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger/Credit Control functions, leading a small team, driving performance, ensuring compliance, and streamlining transactional processes to support the wider business.

Key responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the transactional finance team.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of all AP, AR, and cash transactions.
• Develop and implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support financial reporting and audit requirements.
• Monitor KPIs and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
• Coach and develop team members to support their growth and success.
• Other ad hoc duties as required.

The person:

• Proven experience in a similar role within a large or complex organisation is required.
• Strong leadership and team management skills are essential.
• Excellent knowledge of financial systems and Microsoft Excel is required..
• You will have a detail-oriented mindset with a drive for efficiency and accuracy.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
