This is a key role working as part of a close-knit team. Whilst accounting knowledge is essential, this position goes beyond finance, it requires someone who is highly organised, adaptable and confident in managing office operations and keeping teams accountable.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and support with reporting requirements
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments, maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Provide administrative support to the wider team and senior leadership
  • Uphold office standards, encourage accountability and bring a supportive but firm presence to the team
  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as accountants, suppliers and clients when required

(Note: This is not a direct people management position but does require strong leadership qualities, organisational discipline and the ability to keep the team on track.)

Skills & Experience:

  • Background in finance/accounts (e.g. accounts assistant, office manager with finance duties, finance/office coordinator or similar)
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Experience in credit control and financial processes
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and keep others accountable
  • Adaptable, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities

Package & Benefits:

  • Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 depending on experience
