Job Description

Are you looking to work for a market leader in supplying low carbon technology solutions? We are excited to be working with a fast-growing business whose mission is to reduce energy consumptions by hitting Net Zero targets. They are looking for a Heat Interface Unit (HIU) Engineer to work across Aftercare functions of the business. The ideal candidate will have the ability to service, commission and maintain a range of Heat Interface Units (HIUs).

HIU Engineer
Job Description
  • HIU commissioning, servicing and repair and fault finding.
  • Installation, commissioning, ad hoc repair and servicing of mechanical ventilation and heat recovery systems.
  • Smart metering and pay as you go (PAYG) commissioning and ad hoc repairs.
  • Communicating professionally and courteously with clients and delivering a first in class service.
  • Generating accurate and timely site reports within our CRM system.
  • Participating in manufacturer and in-house CPD training to achieve the industry recognised qualifications required to carry out the role to the highest standards.

HIU Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Knowledge of heat networks and previous experience of HIU commissioning, servicing, repair, and fault finding would be desirable.
  • A technical aptitude, with an interest in low carbon technologies.
  • Good MS Office skills and experience of inputting and updating information in a CRM database is required.
  • A relevant and valid CSCS card.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • DBS Checked.
