Cedar is currently partnered with a high-growth, global, Private Equity-backed business to secure a Finance Manager for a 15-month Fixed Term Contract, based in Central London. This role offers hybrid working and a competitive salary package.

The Company

This international business has undergone rapid organic expansion, supported by strategic acquisitions and strong financial performance. With operations across multiple jurisdictions and continued investment into systems and infrastructure, they are scaling at pace and now require a technically strong Finance Manager to strengthen their reporting and control environment.

The Role

As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of financial control, statutory reporting, and process development across the Group.

  • Ensuring robust financial controls and reconciliations are in place and operating effectively.
  • Overseeing tax compliance, including VAT and foreign tax reporting.

  • Driving process and systems improvements, including ERP development and optimisation.
  • Providing technical accounting support on policies, judgements, and estimates.
  • Leading and developing a high-performing accounting team.
  • Supporting ad hoc strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will ideally have:

  • An ACA qualification with a strong technical accounting background.
  • Experience gained in both audit and industry, ideally within complex, multi-entity or international businesses.
  • A track record of delivering statutory accounts and managing audits.
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and familiarity with tax compliance.
  • Excellent Excel skills, with the ability to work across large datasets.
  • A proactive, positive mindset - confident challenging the status quo and driving change.
  • Experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

  • Hybrid working
  • 25 days annual leave, increasing with service, plus bank holidays.
  • Enhanced family leave policies.
  • Defined contribution pension and income protection.
  • Life assurance and private benefits allowance for health, dental, and vision cover.
A highly collaborative, forward-thinking culture that values innovation, improvement, and professional development.
