A reputable accountancy practice is looking for a qualified ACA or ACCA accountant to join its audit and accounts team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional eager to develop their skills, gain exposure to a wide variety of clients, and progress towards future managerial responsibilities.

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and management accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
• Assist with planning and carrying out audits across a varied client portfolio.
• Prepare corporate and personal tax computations.
• Support clients with queries and foster strong professional relationships.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
• Supervise and mentor trainees, providing guidance and reviewing their work.
• Actively participate in personal and team professional development.

Personal Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified (newly qualified up to 3 years post-qualification).
• Prior experience in an accountancy practice, including exposure to audits.
• Solid technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organised, methodical, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Proficient with accounting/audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
