Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in compliance with Solvency II regulations.
- Collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure consistency and accuracy in all financial reporting.
- Analyze financial data and reports for regulatory purposes ensuring they meet local, national, and European regulations.
- Advise on the impact of regulatory changes and ensure the implementation of compliant strategies within financial operations.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and updates pertinent to the insurance industry.
- Participate in strategic planning meetings to assess financial implications based on regulatory statutes.
Key Skills
- Proven experience in regulatory reporting, focussing significantly on Solvency II directives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle large data sets and convert them into meaningful, actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interfacing confidently with internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team, managing multiple projects with stringent deadlines.
- Thorough understanding of financial accounting principles relevant to the insurance sector.
- Advanced proficiency with financial software tools and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
