Job Description

Intro
Cedar is currently partnered with a thriving Hospitality business to secure an Interim Financial Accountant, based in Central London. The role is a 6-month initial contract, paying a day rate between £300-400 per day.

The Company
This established and fast-growing Hospitality group has seen significant expansion across its UK operations. With continued investment and a focus on operational excellence, they are driving efficiency through best-in-class finance processes and a strong culture of collaboration across their central London head office.

The Role
As Interim Financial Accountant, you will:

  • Liaise with external auditors during year end.
  • Deliver accurate financial data to ensure compliance with statutory and audit requirements.
  • Prepare and review entity accounts to support month-end and year-end reporting.
  • Partner with operational teams to produce clear, reliable financial information for management decision-making.
  • Lead the preparation and filing of annual statutory accounts.
  • Streamline and enhance end-to-end accounting processes to improve efficiency.
  • Identify and implement process improvements across the finance function.

Your Profile
You will ideally have:

  • A recognised accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/CA).
  • Proven experience in statutory reporting under IFRS or UK GAAP.
  • Strong Excel and systems skills.
  • Confidence in managing relationships and working cross-functionally with other finance teams.
  • Availability to commence on short notice.
  • The rate of £300-400 (Umbrella) per day represents a fair market value or a logical step up from your previous rate or salary.

Compensation & Benefits
Alongside the day rate of £300-400 (Umbrella) per day, this Interim Financial Accountant role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic hospitality group during an exciting phase of growth. You'll gain exposure to a talented finance team and senior stakeholders across the business.

Their modern Central London offices are well-connected by tube and rail, and the company promotes a flexible hybrid model, typically attending the office 3 days per week.

They foster a supportive and inclusive culture that values collaboration and recognises achievement.
