Financial Accountant

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Bonus

Location: London

Hybrid: 3 days in the office

I am working with an organisation that is responsible for the one of the largest development projects in the UK in a newly created role which works closely with the Head of Financial Reporting.

This Financial Accountant position is ideal for an individual that has a good understanding in preparing financial statements and is looking for exposure to consolidations, complex reporting structures and forecasting to compliment their career in completing their ACCA/CIMA exams

What can you expect?

• Create forecast financial statements, including a consolidated overview.
• Prepare interim and annual statutory financial statements.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, address discrepancies, and improve the clarity and reliability of schedules for audits.
• Produce accurate and timely reports for shareholders.
• Record and test internal controls for accuracy and effectiveness.
• Support the team to automate finance processes.

Skills and Attributes:

• ACCA/CIMA finalist
• Working knowledge of preparing financial statements
• Accounts prepared under IFRS and UK GAAP is highly advantageous
• Advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of SAP is desirable but not essential
