Management Accountant in London - CMC Consulting Limited

CMC Consulting is partnering with an established and growing FMCG business to find an experienced, well-rounded Management Accountant. With a track record of sustained growth and strong performance, the company is now looking to expand its finance function to support continued success and drive the business forward.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead, guide, and mentor a team of finance professionals, setting clear goals and fostering accountability.
• Oversee daily financial operations, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor bank activity, manage cash flow reporting, and ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
• Drive an efficient and disciplined month-end close process, adhering to deadlines and internal controls.
• Prepare, review, and adjust financial journals, reconciliations, and accounting entries.
• Conduct thorough variance analysis and provide actionable insights to support management decisions.
• Continuously review and refine month-end workflows to enhance accuracy and reduce turnaround times.
• Assess current financial procedures, identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment to ensure compliance and audit readiness.

Skills & Experience :

• Proven experience with Management Accounts ideally within the FMCG sector
• Qualified ACCA / CIMA finance professional
