Job Title: Trainee Residential Childcare Assessor (CYPF)

Location: Home/Field based covering Hertfordshire 
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000

Unqualified Assessors: £28,000

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:

Hold or be willing to work towards an Assessor qualification (full funding and support provided)
Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Team Leader, Deputy or Home Manager within a Residential Children’s Home setting.
Hold a level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare, or Early Years Childcare (or equiv/higher)
Confident with Maths and English and ideally have own GCSE’s or equivalent in Maths and English.
Driver with own vehicleDuties include:

Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
