A leading HGV Axillary company require a Mechanical Assembly Lead / Supervisor to join their team. This would suit individuals that have worked as an Assembly Fitter, Plant fitter, Vehicle Technician, or Mechanic.

The role would require you to lead a small team of assembly fitters in the assembly of vehicle mounted discharge systems.

Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Assembly Lead / Supervisor

Ensure that production processes are efficient and meet high standards
Lead a small team of assemblers
Supervise and support production staff, including training employees and evaluating performance
Organise workflow by assigning tasks and preparing schedules
Maintain accurate records while overseeing Smartsheet documentation
Requirements of the Mechanical Assembly Lead / Supervisor

Engineering Production background.
Strong Organisational leadership and problem-solving skills
Previous experience in similar role
Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in MS office, Smartsheet
