Job Description

We are delighted to be supporting an established, Lanarkshire firm to secure them 2 family law solicitors to join their growing teams. Ideally, you will have a broad range of experience covering residential disputes, separation, prenuptial agreements, custody and more. Due to the nature of work across this firm, you may be required to assist with wills and executries when required. This is a fantastic business, who value and support their staff across all areas of the business.

This role is available on both a full-time and part-time basis, based in North Lanarkshire. This role will be fully office based due to the nature of work, and salary will be dependent on experience.

Are you who we are looking for?

You are an experienced Family Law Solicitor (Any Level)
You enjoy building key relationships with clients and stakeholders
You are a confident communicator both written and orally
You have excellent time and diary management
You can work well individually and within a wider team environment
You are proactive and able to work to your own initiative
You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages and other software

What is the day to day like?

Conducting initial consultations with clients to understand their issues, provide guidance and outline potential course of action
Managing a varied caseload daily, ensuring all cases are handled effectively and efficiently in line with best practice
Drafting legal documents such as court applications, agreements and correspondence, ensuring all is compliant
Representing clients in court proceedings when required
Conducting research to keep up to date with any legal changes in the sector
Working closely with the wider team daily to complete cases from start to end
Ensuring all policies and procedures are followed daily
