Strategy and Policy Engineer-Utility Engineering Sector
Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk-Some WFH available and some travel with the role
£42000-£52000 plus car/car allowance, superb pension, salary progression, 25 days leave
37.5 Hours, Mon-Fri
Are you an engineer from a utilities infrastructure background, after a varied and interesting position for a large, award winning national business?
The position comes with excellent benefits, the opportunity to work 2 days/week from home and further career and salary progression.
The role will manage a small team responsible for developing the asset maintenance strategy for the business. Plus you will develop policies to achieve optimum business performance whilst ensuring full compliance with obligations.
The role would particularly suit someone working towards an Authorising Engineer and/or Competent Person qualification.
The Role
Full time, permanent role with a large, national utilities infrastructure company
Leading a team of 6 to develop an asset maintenance strategy including a framework to measure the performance and condition of assets
Maximise asset utilisation and ensure robust risk and investment plans are in place
The Person
Qualified engineer with a utilities background.
An understanding of utility assets and how maintenance impacts integrity.
Previous experience of managing successful teams.
