Control Systems Integration Engineer Automation (Remote)

Location: Remote, ideally based in or near Cork, Ireland
Working Hours: Full-time (08:30-17:15 Monday to Thursday, 08:30-16:00 Fridays)
Salary: €40K - €60K per annum plus benefits package

Role Overview:
As an Automation Control Systems Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for the full life cycle of project delivery, ensuring both technical compliance and quality. You’ll attend client meetings, design systems, conduct surveys, software programming, and lead testing and commissioning. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to setting up a new office in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and amend control system software (PLC, HMI/SCADA)
Program PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi) and SCADA systems (Wonderware, Iconics)
Create and manage project documentation
Commission systems on UK sites (may involve travel)
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in automation and control systems
Degree in Software Engineering or Electrical qualifications
Proficiency with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi) and SCADA systems (Wonderware, Schneider)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Full, clean UK driving licence
Eligibility to work in the UK
Additional Requirements for Lead Engineers:

Over 5 years of experience
Ability to manage and motivate a team of engineersBenefits:
