Cell leader – machine shop – aerospace – west London

Precision manufacturer of air fluid systems (fans/motors) based in West london is seeking a cell leader to join on a permanent basis. This company manufacturers a range of performance fans and blowers for aerospace, rail and oil/gas industries – all on site in a modern high class facility.

What you will do:

Working in the machine shop you will be responsible for the output and efficiency of the machining cell. So that means being responsible for metric measures, operator training and development. First line issues and shortages, stoppages. The aim being to improve efficiency of the cell through positive means

What you will need

* Mature people management skills in a similar environment – ie cell/module management, cell supervision.

* Machining experience is useful but not essential

* Previous experience of metric management / productivity management is required

* This role will require security clearance so 5 years continuous work experience is required.
