Domestic Gas Engineer required for our client, a leading plumbing and heating contractor with over 30 years of experience. As part of a highly successful team, we are looking to recruit a domestic gas service/repair engineer. We seek someone ambitious, eager to advance in their career. While renewables experience is not essential, applicants must be willing to upskill in this area (all necessary training will be provided). You should be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make smart, practical decisions, while knowing when to seek guidance from your line manager.
Domestic Gas Engineer Overview
Perform Landlord Gas Safety inspections and service gas appliances according to manufacturer instructions at both private and social housing properties.
Conduct reactive maintenance on various types of boilers and heating systems.
Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety protocols and industry standards, including performing basic risk assessments, while following manufacturer recommendations and company procedures.
Maintain a flexible work schedule, including overtime and participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota (mandatory), to meet customer needs.
Carrying out works in Bristol and the surrounding areas. Domestic Gas Engineer Job Requirements
Accredited Certification Scheme including, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1
UHWSS (G3 Unvented Hot Water systems).
Essential system controls, electrics, and basic heating wiring knowledge.
General IT skills, the candidate will be required to complete documentation related to work activities, which may include the use of an iPad.Domestic Gas Engineer Salary & Benifits
£36,000 - £38,000 DOE
