Manufacturing Assembly Planner
ARM are supporting an automotive company based in Chichester to hire an Assembly Planner with experience in Manufacturing.
This is a 12-month rolling contract, inside IR35.
Fully on-site, 5 days a week.
Up to £30 p/hour Umbrella.
Responsibilities:
Working with the Build team to support process improvement and equipment management.
Manage budget and timescales for assembly procurement; tooling, jigs & fixtures.
Review and manage any changes to the assembly process and ensure this is accurately communicated to the assembly line.
Monitor and maintain the history of the build.
Support the quality team with any upcoming audits.
Ensuring continuous improvement is at the forefront of every day.
Monitor the Health & Safety of the assembly team - ensuring risk assessments are up to date.
Support the training of junior members of staff, contractors and students.
Managing vendors and suppliers and supporting their assembly/ equipment needs. The Person:
You must be an excellent communicator, and comfortable talking with stakeholders of all levels.
Ideally have experience within manufacturing engineering.
An Automotive or Manufacturing degree or equivalent. Disclaimer:
