We are seeking a talented and experienced Software QA Test Engineer to join a successful Software business based in Poole. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the development of software and solutions, working alongside a team of dedicated professionals.

Software QA Test Engineer - Poole - Hybrid - Competitive Salary

The ideal candidate will have essential skills in manual testing and a solid understanding of non-functional testing. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through testing and analysis. Additionally, you will have the potential to grow into a Senior QA/Test Lead position, where you will be responsible for leading and managing the testing team.

We are looking for candidates who hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, as well as ISTQB certification. Experience with automated testing tools is also preferred, along with front-end and back-end automation experience. However, if you have the essential skills and are willing to learn, we encourage you to apply.

We are looking for local candidates in the Poole area who are happy to come into the office 2-3 days a week.

Skills required:
· Experience with automated testing tools (Playwright/Cypress or Similar)
· Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
· Experience as a (hands-on) QA lead and/or mentoring of junior test colleagues desirable.
· Experience of working in an agile team, actively making contributions to the team's continuous improvement.
