Job Overview:
As the Procurement Manager - Ingredients, you'll lead procurement activities for ingredient spending and manage 1 direct report. Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to achieve objectives, from cost reduction targets to gaining competitive advantages. Delve into subcategories, markets, suppliers, cost drivers, and structures, exploring supplier innovation opportunities to the fullest
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Vision - manage and drive the procurement strategy for ingredients
* Supplier Relationships - nurturing strong mutually beneficial partnerships
* Cost Optimisation - implement cost-saving opportunities
* Management - develop and manage 1 direct report in the buying team
Requirements:
* Food ingredients background
* Proven buying management in a similar position
* Have managed 1 direct report
