Procurement Manager in Aldershot - CV-Library

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our client's team as a Procurement Manager. The successful candidate will be supporting the Finance Director responsible for strategic planning, developing procurement policies and managing supplier relationships. This is a greenfield position, our client is looking for a Procurement Manager to streamline the supply chain process and set up a efficient procurement function.

Job Title: Procurement Manager

Location: Aldershot, with some travel to sites

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 p.a.

Type: Permanent, Full-time, Hybrid

Key attributes would include:

Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Analytical mindset able to interpret and utilise data effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Key responsibilities would involve:

Developing and implementing procurement strategies to drive cost savings, efficiency and quality improvements.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure the best terms and conditions
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value enhancement
Identify potential risks in the procurement process and develop mitigation strategies
