Fleet Workshop Manager
Salary: Competitive plus bonus, company car/cash allowance and pension
Hours: Full Time - 40 hours per week

What you'll be doing;
To provide the management leadership and control of the Veolia internal workshop.
Support operational performance by ensuring the availability of legally compliant & safe vehicles.
Managing the servicing schedule for up to 120 vehicles, 3.5t upwards, ensuring the fleet is maintained to the highest standard for an effective service delivery.
Collating reports on fleet performance, approving quotes for all works carried out and maintaining the business relationship and overall performance of all transport external repairs & suppliers.
Manage a team of up to 20 staff, including skilled fitters, semi skilled fitters, apprentices and fleet administrators.
Liaising with supervisors and department managers on their requirements, providing specialist advice and assistance where required.
Responsible for the cost effective procurement for parts & maintenance of the fleet.
Responsible for planning and organising work for staff.
Improving the efficiency of the fleet, with the view to reduce accidents & costs, whilst improving standards.
Compliance with all Company, Health & Safety policies and procedures; compliance with Legislative requirements as required.
Creating, communicating and training staff on Policies and Procedures, including those covering Health & Safety, within the operational teams.
What we're looking for;
Previous management/supervisory experience - 5 years minimum.
CPC qualification - desirable.
HGV Class 2 licence - desirable.
In depth knowledge of a wide range of vehicles.
An organised individual with people skills and the ability to make decisions.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Stakeholder management.
