Our client is a care organisation based across Wales offering support and staff to provide people independence, social inclusion and safety to ensure people live good lives within the community. As the L&D Advisor, you will support the team by delivering high-quality training and ensuring employees are equipped with the skills and confidence they need to thrive. In this role, you'll collaborate with the L&D Manager to implement effective learning programmes, while also guiding employees on vocational qualifications. If you're experienced in health and social care, committed to learning, and eager to make a real impact, this is your role. This role is hybrid and would require travel to other sites with a salary package between £31,000 - £34,000.
What Does the Role Entail?
As the Learning & Development Advisor, you'll be designing and delivering learning and development programmes. You will oversee and advise on vocational qualifications, ensuring that employees meet necessary standards within Health and Social Care. Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering training courses, advising on external training providers, and supporting employees at all levels across the organisation. This role will also involve collaborating with management and attending regional development meetings. The ability to travel throughout Wales, including overnight stays, is essential.
What Skills Will You Have?
You will ideally hold a Level 4 qualification in Learning & Development or an equivalent, alongside experience working at a senior level within the Health and Social Care sector. You should have extensive knowledge of vocational qualifications and the regulatory frameworks relevant to the sector. Experience in developing and delivering training, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence others will be key.
What Is On Offer?
This L&D role offers a competitive salary ranging from £31,000 to £34,000, with the opportunity to work within a flexible, hybrid environment. Based in one of our South or Mid-Wales regional offices, you'll have the chance to lead L&D activities, develop your skills, and support the ongoing professional development of the staff. This is a full-time position, 37 hours per week, with plenty of opportunities to grow and make a difference.
