Audit Manager position - Hybrid in Banbury - top 100 practice
A highly reputable top 100 practice are recruiting for an Audit Manager within their corporate services. This particular role is a hybrid position, based in Banbury.
To plan, organise and manage a portfolio of clients within the Corporate Services department with some emphasis on our leading Not For Profit specialism. Providing a cost-effective, timely, quality service to the client, to enhance client experience and productivity for the Firm at the same time.
In addition to client management, the role will contribute to overall practice development particularly in the area of audit, accounts preparation and outsourcing work for corporate and NFP clients
Corporate Services Audit Manager Position Overview
Excellent Client Services - To provide excellent service to clients including those in the NFP Sector, along with others where appropriate, on a cost effective and timely basis.
Responding to client queries - and those from third parties (e.g., HMRC) in a timely manner.
Reviewing and finalising audit files, accounts and corporation tax work prepared by junior staff
Completing staff appraisal forms - providing feedback and training as required
To identify business opportunities and assist partners with specific value-added assignments
To monitor progress against deadlines and ensure these are met
Ensuring work is planned and progressed in an efficient, timely and cost-effective manner
Corporate Services Audit Manager Position Requirements
Ability to review and complete audit and accounts files quickly and efficiently.
Strong computer literacy
Strong active listening skills
Excellent problem resolution skills and ideas generation ability
Strong marketing, networking, and business development skills
Pro-active management skills, resulting in high performance teams
In depth knowledge of audit and accounts preparation preferably NFP
Corporate taxation knowledge
Solid MS Office products knowledge
ACA or ACCA qualification or QBE
Minimum of 4 years post qualification experience within an audit environment
Minimum of 3 years' experience managing staff within a practice environment
Corporate Services Audit Manager Position Remuneration
Salary ranging from £55,000 to £65,000
