Description
As Commodity Manager, you will be responsible for managing a c. £40m+ spend across a variety of ingredients categories. alongside leading a team of 2.
Create, input and recommend a Commodity Risk Management (CRM) plan for your categories
PPV ownership
Managing suppliers and ensure 100% OTIF using appropriate tools within the business
Reviewing and drafting supplier contracts to provide beneficial terms which benefit the business
Drafting and executing RFI'S and RFQ's, finalising recommendation for sign offs before implementation
Source new suppliers, de-list non performing suppliers and provide a clear plan for your suppliers using the vendor management process
input into annual budget process and identifying risk & opportunities. Take action to minimise risk and optimise opportunities
Leadership and development of 2 direct reportsProfile
FMCG manufacturing experience - preferably food
Global sourcing experience Inc. commodity driven markets
Proven leadership and talent development
The ability to challenge suppliers, constructively to ensure cost savings whilst building long term relationships
Strong ER/MRP experience Inc. Excel
A confident communicator, with the ablity to hit the ground runningJob Offer
The successful candidate for this Commodity Manager role will be offered up to £75,000 plus package;
