The Opportunity
Are you passionate about leading teams, shaping operations, and building strong customer relationships in an exciting and dynamic industry? We are seeking a proactive and dedicated individual to take charge of our OCL Southern Depot operations as an Area Manager.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee three key operations, leading both Commercial and Operational functions to drive growth and efficiency.
In this role, you’ll be the key point of contact for customers in the region, ensuring smooth collaboration while fostering closer partnerships to develop future opportunities. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining a motivated, competent workforce by regularly interacting with team members and encouraging a culture aligned with our company values.
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring both site and office functions are safe, efficient, and environmentally sound.
Serve as a senior customer liaison, promoting collaborative working relationships and securing future projects.
Drive operational success by overseeing site operations, profitability, and team performance.
Motivate and guide your teams, implementing change where needed and ensuring smooth communication across all levels.
Manage financial performance by working closely with Commercial teams to ensure timely reporting and strong cash flow..
Stay ahead of industry trends, preparing the business for future challenges and opportunities.
Who you are
You have a background in operational leadership, with experience managing complex teams and processes.
Your passion for fostering collaboration, building relationships, and driving sustainable growth will be essential in this role
You naturally lead with safety and environmental responsibility in mind, always ensuring that operations run smoothly and ethically.
You take pride in creating a positive and motivated team environment, regularly checking in with your staff to ensure they feel supported and empowered.
Your keen eye for detail ensures that every aspect of the operation is managed efficiently, from team performance to financial reporting.
