EHS Manager
£450,000 - £50,000 per annum
Permanent opportunity in Deeside
Working hours are Monday to Friday 37.5 hours (days)

Responsibilities of the EHS Manage:
Ensure full site compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, including fire safety, security, and waste management.
Oversee the identification and interpretation of statutory HSE requirements and policy obligations, supporting Reacta's Quality Management System.
Manage interactions with external HSE agencies, contractors, and regulatory authorities as necessary.
Coordinate and deliver all required HSE training across the site.
Take ownership of and complete all HSE-related risk assessments.
Maintain compliance with HSE systems and lead investigations into incidents, implementing strategies to prevent recurrence.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with operational and engineering teams, based on audit findings, near misses, and hazard identification.
Conduct self-inspections and audits of the site and surrounding areas, maintaining strong relationships with landlords and local security teams.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on HSE performance.
Support facilities management activities and contribute to site business continuity plans when needed.
The Candidate:
The successfully appointed EHS Manager will have the following skills and abilities:
HSE management / Co-Ordinator experience
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent HSE qualification
IT literate
Excellent communication, problem solving and decision-making skills
