Portfolio Manager/Loan Book Manager
Salary: £45,000.00-£65,000.00 per year

About Us: My Client is a well-established, dynamic, and successful lender of short-term property finance, partnering with property professionals throughout the UK. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and proactive Portfolio Manager/Loan Book Manager with experience in the property sector to join our team.

Role Overview: In this role, you will work both independently and alongside the Managing Director and Financial Controller to manage a growing and diverse loan book/portfolio. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the recovery process, and overseeing properties as necessary. This includes liaising with solicitors, LPA receivers, and property professionals/agents.

Key Responsibilities:

* Loan Book/Portfolio Management: Manage and oversee the entire loan book and property portfolio, ensuring timely payments of loan interest and managing overdue loans.

* Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with clients.

* Property Management: Liaise with estate agents, solicitors, and other professionals to manage properties and the loan recovery process.

* Operational Support: Assist the director with operational tasks such as producing statements, redemption statements, and other financial reports.

* Policy Development: Develop and document procedures and policies to monitor and communicate overdue payments.

* Software Management: Manage and maintain our loan book management software system.

Required Skills:

* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

* A team player with the confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders.

* Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to quickly build professional relationships.

* A proactive and confident approach to problem-solving.

* Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

* Experience in property and property development is advantageous.
