The Opportunity:

Are you an experienced Contracts Manager looking for more autonomy to lead on your own initiative?

We are recruiting for an experienced Relationship Manager who can solely manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure impeccable client satisfaction. You will be at the heart of the operation, building strong relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure the delivery of work is like a well-oiled machine.

You will have exceptional stakeholder management skills, demonstrating a commercial mindset with the ability to think and make executive decisions in a fast-paced environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of the biggest Train Operators, where you will play an integral part to the UK economy, allowing you to expand your knowledge and capabilities with genuine progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Managing key relationships internally and externally to ensure effective delivery to third-party customers.
Ensuring internal production teams are working to meet the customers’ deadlines.
Conducting supplier review meetings, tracking and reporting on performance.
Responding and resolving any commercial issues which may arise.
Responsible for suppliers’ contracts and lease agreements.
Working with Finance to ensure financials and budgets are adhered to.
Candidate Essentials

An understanding and previous experience of working within Contracts and Supplier Management.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage with critical stakeholders, internally and externally.
A commercial mindset with previous experience of working with Finance to meet financial budgets.
The confidence to face and resolve challenges, being able to make executive decisions under pressure.
The autonomy and initiative to conduct this role alone in the depot with strong detail and organisation.
 Qualifications

A managerial qualification would be desirable but not essential.
 Desirable

Experience or an understanding of Procurement / Supply Chain would be desirable.
Rail experience would be desirable.
