Shift Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Salford, Manchester

6 Months Minimum (Temp to Perm)

Our client who is one of the leading companies with the FM sector are currently looking to employ a Shift Mechanical Maintenance Engineer on a Temporary full time basis based on a static site in Salford with the view to go permanent for the right person.

The main purpose of the role will be to provide Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive works across the site.

4 on 4 off shift pattern as follows:

7am - 7pm x2
7pm - 7pm x2

Responsibilities: Be able to maintain, service and repair a wide range of the building services listed below :

Heating and domestic water services
General Electrical services such as lighting and power
Air handling units
Low voltage electrical distribution system and switchgear
Emergency standby generating plant
Fire alarm systems and emergency lighting
Electrical control systems
Building Management System
Manage Plant Rooms, including Steam Pipes

Person Requirements

Fully qualified and experienced within a mechanical engineering discipline. (NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing Minimum)
Experience of building and facilities maintenance.
Multi Skilled with a Mechanical bias.
No criminal record
