The opportunity:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance professional looking for a new and unique challenge in a brokerage that has a highly respected reputation in the market.
The DR&P Group already has a presence covering all of the UK with the only Scottish broker being D2 Corporate Solutions.
Skills, knowledge and qualifications required:
• Strong commercial insurance knowledge
• Exemplary customer service skills with the ability to build solid relationships with clients & colleagues.
• Tenacious, with experience of working in a target driven & fast paced environment.
• Be able to generate leads & follow these up to build a strong pipeline of potential clients
• Market & Insurer knowledge & relationships
• Ability and flexibility to work as part of a team or independently
• Working towards ACII at any level Responsibilities:
• Client Acquisition – Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities (D2 will provide access to a mature database)
• Client Relationship – Build and maintain strong relations with potential clients, understanding their insurance needs in order to provide tailored solutions at both the new business stage and throughout the broker/client relationship
• Business Retention – Ensure retention of clients by project managing accounts, ensuring excellent delivery of service, conducting mid-term and renewal meetings
• Negotiation – Conduct negotiations to secure favourable terms and agreements, ensuring a winwin situation for both clients and D2.
• Compliance – Ensure staying on track of both industry and D2 regulatory requirements and standards
• Sales Reporting – Provide regular reports on new business activities, achievements and challenges
