Mechanical Supervisor - Grey Hat in Reading - CV-Library

ES Steel is one of Constructions fastest growing SME with a strong focus on the Nuclear and Defence sector! To help us with our fantastic growth we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor Grey Hat for a long term project in Reading.

This role is ideal for a time-served Mechanical Fitter with extensive experience in the Nuclear, Defence, or similarly regulated industries.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical installations, including the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and will hold relevant certifications such as a CSCS Gold card, Level 3 qualifications, and SSSTS. Multi-skilled individuals with additional capabilities in lifting or operating a MEWP are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and oversee mechanical installations, ensuring compliance with technical drawings and engineering standards.

* Install and mount equipment such as pumps, motors, and rafts.

* Execute the installation of mechanical joints and participate in system testing, including pneumatic and hydrostatic tests.

* Ensure all work adheres to quality standards and relevant safety regulations.

* Coordinate and manage tasks within a heavily regulated site environment, maintaining a high level of safety and efficiency.

In return you’ll receive a rate of £37.50 per hour on CIS basis for up to 50 hours a week.
