Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the structural steel industry, with a strong background in estimating. This role is crucial to our operations, as it involves preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for our projects, contributing to the overall success and profitability of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for structural steel projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.

2. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine project requirements.

3. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop comprehensive and competitive bids.

4. Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing and terms.

5. Monitor market trends and adjust estimates accordingly to ensure competitiveness.

6. Maintain detailed records of estimates, proposals, and other relevant documentation.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as an Estimator in the structural steel industry.

2. Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication and erection processes.

3. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

4. Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
