Commercial Insurance Account Handler

Lichfield, WS13

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE) plus benefits

09:00 – 17:00 (Monday to Friday)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established Insurance Brokers based in the heart of Lichfield. Due to continued growth in the business they now have a full time office based position for a Commercial Insurance Account Handler / Senior to join their busy and vibrant team, offering a great place to further your experience and career.

Job Responsibilities:

* Policy Checking - Working on new business and renewals.

* Negotiating terms and managing client’s mid-term adjustments.

* Maintaining and updating diary records

* Keep accurate client records on Acturis

* Visiting clients when required.

* Day to day support of account executives.

* Preparing Market Presentations

* Preparation of Risk Registers

* Adapt to the culture of a Brokerage & the levels of client service that our client provides.

Technical Knowledge / Qualifications:

* 2-5 years commercial insurance account handling experience required.

* Highly focused on delivering excellent customer service

* Proactive and confident in building and maintaining client and insurer relationships.

* Previous experience using Acturis software is beneficial but not essential as training can be provided.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office

* Previous insurance experience is desirable

* Knowledge of Current Insurance Market is desirable

* Insurance Qualifications are desirable
