Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving company based in Newark as a Permanent Insurance Customer Account Handler.

The role is / can be working on a hybrid basis once training is completed, they work Mon to Wed in the office and Thur and Fri can then be worked from home if you wish. Standard Hours: 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings on a rota basis, 9am – 1pm (with 4 hours’ time off in lieu). Part Time hours available 2-4 days and flexible days or start / finish times.

Salary:
£22-28k dependent upon age and experience - pro rata.

We are looking for someone with strong customer service experience, someone who is a competent IT user and has excellent communication skills. Any experience from insurance sector is welcomed however full training is given.

* High Value Homes
* Weekend & Second Homes
* Holiday Homes
* Unoccupied Properties
* Properties Undergoing Building Works & Extensions
* Residential Landlords Properties
* Rent Guarantee & Legal Expenses
* Caravans

Primarily the Home insurance is sold mostly online through the price comparison websites etc. so most of our enquiries come from clients over the phone, live chat and email.

Role and Responsibilities:
* Dealing with customer enquiries and questions on the phone, by email and live chat;
* Processing and dealing with new business quotes and administering renewals and mid-term policy adjustments.
* Need to possess selling skills and a strong ethos of ensuring the client understands the products they are being offered.
* To provide an excellent level of personal service to our customers.

Qualifications and Competence Required:
* Competent on Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word and Outlook
* Good level of numeracy and literacy skills - Min. GCSE Maths & English Grade B (or equivalent)
* Ideally educated to minimum A-Level standard
