Job Description
Our client, a prominent company within the buildings and rail sector, is looking to engage a Structural Engineer on a part-time contract basis. This role involves working on a variety of projects including buildings, structures, extensions, property, and commercial buildings. If you have experience with Tekla Tedds and a strong background in structural engineering, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and analyse building structures using appropriate software, including Tekla Tedds
Prepare detailed structural calculations and drawings
Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders on project specifications and requirements
Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with construction standards
Provide technical guidance and support throughout project lifecycles
Prepare and review structural engineering reports
Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure project timelines are met
Adhere to industry standards and safety regulations at all times
Job Requirements:
Experience in structural engineering, particularly in buildings and rail sector
Proficiency in using Tekla Tedds software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results within deadlines
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Understanding of construction standards and safety regulations
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
