Job Description
My client is looking for a Audit Manager / Audit Senior due to expansion.
Job purpose
The role will involve the completion of audit engagements for my clients audit clients as well as adding to the technical expertise of the audit department. This will include assisting and advising the client management team on the formulation of audit strategy and planning. You will be leading an audit team, ensuring that the team complete in a timely manner and within budget. You will be either ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified or qualified by experience. You will have significant external audit experience managing a portfolio of clients and leading audit teams, with a very high level of technical expertise. Excellent communication and strong teamwork skills are essential. Duties and responsibilities
* Managing and completing statutory audit work for my clients audit clients, including the management of junior members, reporting to the head of audit and liaising with client
* Monitoring budget and WIP on assignments
* Monitoring turnaround
* Reviewing audit files
* Taking primary responsibility for monitoring progress against budget, and when the actual differs from budget, then gaining a full understanding for the audit compliance partner
* Taking primary responsibility for monitoring progress against budget, and when the actual differs from budget, then gaining a full understanding for the head of audit
Qualifications and experience
* ACA/ACCA fully or part-qualified or qualified by experience
* Ideally experience within a small or medium sized practice
