Job Description

We are working with a fantastic Insurance Broker based in Shropshire and together we are seeking several Insurance Executives to work within the Commercial or the Farming/Agriculture sectors.

The role would suit somebody with insurance advisory experience and knowledge of or interest in commercial or the world of farming.

Location/Radius:

* Shrewsbury, Shropshire

Salary:

* £35,000 per annum (negotiable dependant on experience)

Role:

* New Business Development: Proactively pursue new business opportunities, maintain relationships with existing clients, and achieve performance objectives.

* Client Management: Handle commercial clients and oversee personal lines business, ensuring accurate and professional dealings with clients and insurers.

* Sales and Coverage: Present recommendations, secure appropriate cover for clients, close sales, and manage cross-selling opportunities and referrals.

* Claims Handling: Advise clients on claims, manage claims processes efficiently, and ensure systems and files are updated with accurate records.

* Customer Service: Maintain high customer service standards and promote exceptional customer care.

* Account Handling: Conduct all aspects of account management, including new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims.

* Administrative Tasks: Prioritize and action client communication, maintain accurate records and documentation, and manage diary systems effectively.

* Compliance: Ensure all business activities comply with FCA regulations, use checklists and support documentation, and promote a TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) culture.

* Data Security: Adhere to the Data Security Policy, ensuring secure management of personal data, and report potential breaches.

* Team Collaboration: Attend team meetings, support team members, and undertake any other duties as required.

* Knowledge and Skills Development: Stay updated with relevant policies, market conditions, and company procedures, continue developing insurance knowledge, and demonstrate proficiency in IT skills including SSP/Acturis, MS Word, MS Outlook, and Excel.

Ideal candidate:

* Insurance experience with either commercial or farming/livestock

* Ability to drive new business

* Strong understanding of FCA regulations
