£85-£100 per day (Salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications )

About the role

The School and Role

This Essex Academy Trust Secondary School, ‘Outstanding’ based in Basildon are seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with behavioural and Special Educational needs including ASC and ADHD. Working in this Secondary School as part of an established team, the successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be supporting students across a whole year group, providing pastoral support as well as 1:1 mentoring.


The desired SEN Teaching Assistant will have;

Experience working with students with SEND.
Relevant childcare training or equivalent qualifications.
Dedication to ensuring children of all abilities receive access to quality education.
A passion for supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable children.
