Due to continued growth we are looking for a Senior Business Consultant to join our team. Job Description The overriding purpose of this senior, client-facing role is to ensure the success and excellent client satisfaction in the implementation of Synergy2. To be responsible for providing business related pre-sales support and ensuring that client’s and prospect’s requirements are understood and the business solution is mapped against these requirements. To operate in a project team environment on either Eurobase or client premises, which could be overseas. Therefore some mobility will be required, including the need to travel. Responsibilities To Provide Excellent Product and Business Expertise Provide product and business expertise on a Synergy2 implementation project, which will involve running workshops with the client as part of an Implementation Study Identify the best solutions for meeting client requirements based upon the existing functionality of our insurance products, identifying where customisations will be required. Contributing to the Synergy2 Roadmap by reviewing Synergy2 against standard market needs (for reinsurance and London Market), proposing improvements where required. Provide excellent and timely communications with clients, both verbal and written. Responsible for working collaboratively and within a project team environment with other key functions within the insurance team and wider business Working closely with Business Development , supporting them across the full sales lifecycle and qualification of prospect needs. Delivering presentations and online demonstrations to promote Synergy2 to prospects and clients. Prepare and present proposals to prospects on system solutions, including costs and timescales. Supporting Marketing events – client conferences, trade shows, webinars etc Supporting Marketing activities – contribute to blogs, whitepapers and other marketing collateral. Responsible for strengthening client relationships Have regular reviews and strategic discussions with your clients to ensure they are getting the most from the product, informing them of the Synergy2 Roadmap and plans because direct conversations often lead to faster and better outcomes. To undertake any other duties within your skills confidence to support the attainment of Eurobase’s key objectives and values Ensure continuous improvement of role and development of self. Seek to continuously improve the quality and value of outputs by working with key colleagues. Responsible for positively contributing to a safe work environment ensure compliance with H&S. Protect all personal information in adherence with GDPR etc Complete all mandatory training and any corporate refresher training where required. Relevant experience Minimum of 5 years in the (re)Insurance industry Excellent customer relationship skills, preferably with a strong ‘consultancy’ approach Insurance applications experience, preferably in underwriting solutions Market digitalisation – knowledge of digital messaging solutions within reinsurance (Ruschlikon) and London Market (Blueprint Two) Expertise in business analytics for delivering business intelligence solutions including dashboards Insurance accounting (Financial and credit control) Business analysis experience covering full project life cycle developments Insurance business knowledge – Up to date and in-depth experience of either Reinsurance, Large Commercial Insurance or London Market Experience of working in a structured environment and to quality management standards Reinsurance business knowledge – experience of Fac and Treaty, including recovery and premium calculations, and reinsurance credit control - Desirable
